Who am I?

I know it's kinda typical thinking like that. I mean, most people define teenagers as 'youngsters who are unsure of themselves'. Well, I more or less agree with that.

Well, I shall not brood on about my grades or anything like that, but I would like to give you something to think about. Why do people stereotype people?

1. Teens
Many parents view teens as rebellious people who tend to have a certain disregard for the rules. Well, although it's a rather accurate depiction [sorry!], I feel very sad that it's like this.

2. Girls
Yeah, this is what I get a lot of the time. Boys are the adventurous, outdoor type while the girls are the sit-down-&-look-pretty type. riiiiight. I mean, even during sexuality education, the male picture showed this guy holding a frog, and the female picture was a little princess. I'm sorry, but WHAT THE F-?!

3. NUS High students
Yeah yeah I get this all the time. Teens on the train stare at your uniform and start whispering to their friends. Uhm, okay? Most of the time it's a distinctive 'nerd'. Great.
Our school is pretty much one of the most vulgar ones. That's not exactly something to be proud of, but it's not fair to call us the 'nerd school' or something. We're not! There's a whole lot of unstudious people out there. It's also wrong to call us the school for the smartasses. Take me as an example to prove you wrong.

That's the rant for today.

Happy hols!
